Artillery Fuzes are available for gun calibres 105mm to 203mm, specialised for 155mm, 39 to 52 calibre systems. Useable on all HE and HES ammunition: standard, ERFB or Base Bleed. The product leader is the M9801 Multi-Option (MOFA) fuze that can also be used on 120mm Rifled Mortar systems. It has a 'factory default mode' with switch selectable functions and can be induction programmed with a STANAG 4369 compliant setter for 'Proximity' (with variable burst height and safety time), 'Time' and 'Point Detonation' (super quick or delay) modes of operation. Proximity fuzes like M85C13 offer factory set burst height with 'Point Detonation' (super quick) and factory set 'Safety Time'. Electronic Point Detonation fuzes offer switch selection between 'Point Detonation' (super quick) and 'Delay' function. The latest generation M9804 Time fuze is induction programmable with a STANAG 4369 compliant setter and manually settable or readable with simple to operate on-board switches and a clear display.

M9801 Electronic Mult-Option Fuze (MOFA)

The M9801 Fuze is designed for use on 105mm to 203mm gun and 120mm rifled mortar projectiles.

The M9801 can be employed on Standard, ERBF, Base Bleed and Rocket Assisted Projectiles.

The Fuze has various operational modes of which the primary modes are hand selectable by means of a switch on the side of the Fuze. The secondary modes are induction settable by means of a STANAG 4369 compliant Setter.

The Fuze can be set an indefinite number of times and will retain the last setting indefinitely until reprogrammed.

M9802 Electronic Point Detonating/Delay Fuze

The M9802 induction settable Fuze is designed for use on 105mm to 203mm gun and 120mm rifled mortar projectiles.

The M9802 can be employed on Standard, ERFB, Base Bleed and Rocket Assisted Projectiles.

The Fuze has two operational modes which are hand selectable by means of a switch on the side of the Fuze.

  • Point Detonation Super Quick.
  • Point Detonation Delay with delay time of 10 milliseconds or factory settable as per customer requirement between the limits of 2 to 50 milliseconds (ms).

The fuze is superior to standard mechanical point detonation fuzes in that it has an additional electronic safety time.

M9803 Electronic Time Fuze

The M9803 induction settable Fuze is designed for use on Cargo Dispensing 105mm to 203mm gun and 120mm rifled mortar projectiles.

The M9803 can be employed on Standard, ERFB, Base Bleed and Rocket Assisted Projectiles.

The Fuze time function is induction settable by means of either the Fuchs Setter, or any other STANAG 4369 compliant setters.

The Fuze can be set an infinite number of times and will retain the last setting indefinately until reprogrammed.

Optional Point Detonation Super Quick action serves as a backup to the time mode.

M9804 Electronic Time Fuze

The M9804 induction and hand settable Fuze is designed for use on Cargo Dispensing 105mm to 203mm gun and 120mm rifled mortar projectiles.

The M9804 can be employed on Standard, ERFB, Base Bleed and Rocket assisted Projectiles.

The Fuze time function can be set or verified in either of the following ways:

  • by means of any STANAG 4369 compliant Setter or the Fuchs Induction Setter
  • by means of the two buttons and display on the Fuze body.

The Fuze can be set an indefinate number of times and will retain the last setting indefinately until reprogrammed.

Optional Point Detonation Super Quick action serves as a backup to the time mode.

M9121 Electronic Multi-Option Fuze

The M9121 Fuze is designed for use on HE 105mm to 203mm gun and 120mm rifled mortar projectiles.

The M9121 can be employed on Standard, ERFB, Base Bleed and Rocket Assisted Projectiles.

The Fuze has various operational modes of which the primary modes are hand selectable by means of a switch on the side of the Fuze.

The secondary modes are induction settable by means of the applicable Fuze Setter.

The Fuze can be set an infinite number of times and will retain the last setting indefinitely until reprogrammed.

M9220 Electronic Time Fuze

The M9220 Induction Settable Time Fuze is designed for use on Cargo Dispensing 105mm to 203mm gun and 120mm rifled mortar projectiles.

The M9220 can be employed on Standard, ERFB, Base Bleed and Rocket Assisted Projectiles.

The Fuze functioning time is induction settable by means of the applicable Fuchs Setter.

The Fuze can be set an infinite number of times and will retain the last setting indefinately until reprogrammed.

The Time setting can be verified by means of the Fuchs Settar.

Point Detonation Super Quick action serves as a backup to the time mode.

M85C13 Electronic Proximity Fuze
