Aircraft Bomb Fuzes are available for various applications and are suitable for use on Mk80 series and FAB series bombs. The fuzes are type qualified on various aircraft.

Jupiter 4 Electronic Proximity Fuze


 
The Jupiter 4 Fuze is designed for use on general purpose aircraft bombs.

The Fuze is an Electronic Proximity type, designed for use on:

  • All bombs with 2" fuze cavity, i.e. NATO configuration.
  • All bombs with M52 cavity, i.e. WARSAW configuration.
  • MK80 series bombs using the T45/M148 Booster Adaptor.

The Electronic safety time is user selectable: 4-60 seconds, depending on the release parameters.

Point Detonation Super Quick mode serves as a backup to the proximity mode.

Jupiter 6 Electronic Proximity Fuze


 

The Jupiter 6 is designed for use on general purpose aircraft bombs.

The Fuze is an Electronic Proximity type, used on MK80 series bomb systems.

User selectable burst height.

The electronic safety time is user selectable : 6, 8 and 20 seconds.

Point Detonation Super Quick action serves as a backup to the proximity mode.

A spin sensor monitors the spin of the bomb before arming commences.

AB104 ELECTRONIC PROXIMITY FUZE

The AB104 Fuze is designed for use on general purpose aircraft bombs.

The Fuze is an Electronic Proximty type designed for use on:

  • Free fall, low-drag and retarded bomb systems.
  • All calibres with 2" fuze cavity, i.e. NATO configuration.
  • All calibres with M52 cavity, i.e. WARSAW configuration.
  • MK80 series bombs using the T45/M148 Booster Adaptor.

The Electronic safety time is user selectable, depending on the release parameters, low-drag or retarded tails.

Point Detonation Super Quick action serves as a backup to the proximity mode.\

The Fuze incorporates a "G" force sensor, monitored by the micro processor, to ensure correct functioning of the retard tail if selected.
