Mortar Fuzes, like the latest 'on-board settable' M9813 and MTF-01 Inductive Settable Time fuzes and the M9815 Dual Mode fuze with switch selectable Proximity or Point Detonation mode are suitable for 60mm to 160mm or spin fin stabilised conventional, extended range and rocket assist mortar bombs.

M9813 Electronic Time Fuze


 

The M9813 Fuze is for use on 60mm, 81mmm, 120mm and 160mm fin and spin stabilised conventional, extended range and rocket assisted carrier mortar bombs.

The Fuze time function is set by hand using the three setting rings incorporated in the Fuze nose.

The time range is 5.0 to 99.9 seconds.

Optional Point Detonation action serves as a backup to the time function.

M9815 Electronic Proximity Fuze


 

The M9815 Fuze is for use on 60mm, 81mmm, 120mm and 160mm fin and spin stabilised conventional, extended range and rocket assisted HE mortar bombs.

The Fuze has two operational modes which are selectable by using the mode selector switch incorporated in the Fuze nose:

  • Proximity Mode
  • Point Detonation Super Quick mode (PDSQ)

Point Detonation Super Quick action serves as backup to the Proximity mode.

The fuze has improved safety features including an apex sensor.

M0315 Electronic Point Detonation Fuze


 

The M0315 Fuze is for use on 60mm, 81mmm, 120mm and 160mm fin stabilised conventional, extended range and rocket assisted HE mortar bombs.

The Fuze has two operational modes which are switch selectable:

  • Point Detonation Super Quick (PDSQ)
  • Point Detonation Delay (PDD)

MTF-01 Electronic Time Fuze


 

The MTF-01 Fuze is for use on 60mm, and 81mmm, 120mm and 160mm fin and spin stabilised conventional, extended range and rocket assisted carrier mortar bombs.

The Fuze time function is set by means of an Induction Setter using protocols derived from STANAG 4369.

The time range is 5.0 to 99.9 seconds.

Optional Point Detonation Super Quick (PDSQ) action serves as a backup to the time function.

The fuze has identical ballistic characteristics to the M9815.
